ATSS Professional ClubMeeting InformationDate: April 27, 2006Time: 7-00 PMLocation: 4600 Bathurst Street (Lipa Green Building), Room 420Anatoly Puzinovich, the oriental medicine and computer technology specialist, communicated the latest results on the application of computer technology and devices in traditional oriental medicine (elaborated by Roman Avakyan, PhD and Michael Teppone, MD). Medical devices used in the functional diagnostics and quantum therapy were presented. The diagnostics demonstration was performed for one of the specialists participated in the seminar (see photo). Special attention was paid to the application of low-intensity mm-wave electromagnetic radiation in clinical medicine. Mr. Puzinovich provided a brief theory of “Ultra- High-Frequency (UHF) therapy” method, basic physical explanations of the UHF effects on biological systems, as well as the indications for UHF-therapy. The results and future prospects for the application of the UHF-therapy in practical oncology were presented separately. As the audience not only showed interest in the practical benefits of the presented devices, but also in the theoretical basis, it was decided to arrange for one more seminar on the same topic, with the focus on the theoretical aspects and potential for a more extensive use of the apparatus, including oncology. Vitaly Guitberg briefly described the job search assistance program implemented by the ATTS in collaboration with career planning and employment specialists. The program helps new immigrants and internationally trained professionals who for the past few years in Canada have not been able to find employment within their own area of specialization:
